MAY be the little boy we read about here earlier:

Two of the victims of the Highland Park shooting, Kevin and Irina McCarthy. Their little Aiden has lost both parents. The two year old was found by strangers amid the chaos on Monday, and reunited with his grandparents, who will raise him.

I thought that Sandy Hook had killed the soul of the nation.
Then I thought that Uvalde was just another unnecessary shot to the head literally andfiguratively...

But now?
A barely past infancy orphan?
Because of a lunatic with access to military-style weapons?
At a fucking 4th of July parade?

I'm over-emotiing...my mouth is watering from the bile-taste welling up from my stomach...I am actually going to throw-up.

Jesus Fucking Christ Crucified...THIS is the best we can collectively do?
Maybe Climate Change should end us and leave behind warnings and road maps of what NOT to ever do in the hopes that something better than orphaned infants, murdered children and cowardly fools will be our epithet.
