Two and 1/2 years was a pretty good run

But I hit rung the COVID bell this morning. My wife and I have been masking and isolating pretty religiously, but she's back in the office part time now.
We had friends who are also religious maskers over on Sunday, and my wife developed a cough while they were there. She tested positive on Monday. Our 3 friends all have symptoms as well.

She has a bad cough and no energy, but the cough subsides when she's not active. I'm not nearly as bad, but I'm also the only one in our clique who was old enough to double boost.

Stay vigilant and stay safe!

I’m on Paxlovid now, she wasn’t able to take it due to med interactions. I’m not feeling horrible, just aches and exhaustion.
The Paxlovid is fucking up my taste though. Horrible metallic taste.
