Give Biden a break
By Dana Milbank

For weeks, Democrats have arrayed themselves in traditional circular firing formation, complaining about the presidents failure to channel outrage about mass shootings, the Supreme Courts overturning of Roe v. Wade and MAGA Republicans assaults on democracy. This produced post-Independence Day fireworks in a trio of news outlets...
Theres just one problem with the too-cool-Joe complaints: Biden has been saying heatedly and repeatedly exactly that which he is accused of avoiding.
Biden has been hammering DeSantis, for example, for his hateful dont say gay bill, for book burnings and trying to ban books, even math books, and for a dangerous abortion bill eroding womens constitutional rights.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) scolded Biden for failing to come to terms with the crisis of our democracy, and Politico reports Democrats criticizing Biden for lacking fire against escalating threats to democracy. But Biden, who frequently warns of the dire threats, was just a few months ago criticized for being too hot when he said of those restricting voting rights: Do you want to be on the side of John Lewis or Bull Connor? Then, Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) said that perhaps the president went a little too far. NBCs Kristen Welker asked Biden about those offended by your speech. NBCs Craig Melvin asked whether the speech was an example of vindictiveness.
Gifted article. No paywall.

You aren't going to shut up the morons --- this is a clickbait age and culture
Yes, I'd like to change the culture, but that's for another group.
In the meantime, who speaks for Joe? Preaching to the choir here, and as for the rest of "social media", you're outnumbered unless the clickbait media follow and promote you.
Now, I suppose there are random things you and I can do, like writing letters to our local news papers and websites (flooded with maga crap, as well) But there are organized things (listed here)

Donate, volunteer, help people register, write postcards, phone-bank ....
And given some (well deserved) feelings that DNC is doing not much more than reading polls, maybe a campaign song needs to be written? I am putting it on my list.
GENERATE GOOD KARMA, IF YOU WANT A KARMA-GEDDON for the scumbags.
