Are Lindsey Graham and Rupert Murdoch about to be brought down?

https://heathercoxrichardson.substack.com/p/july-6-2022

Letters from an American:

'Yesterday, a Fulton County, Georgia, grand jury issued a subpoena for Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), among others, and today Graham’s lawyers said they will challenge the subpoena...They assert that as then-chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Graham “was well within his rights to discuss with state officials the processes and procedures around administering elections.”

...the Supreme Court is unlikely to agree that the state of Georgia is a branch of the federal government... “an arrogant[,] pompous and legally weak argument from Graham [that] should be slam-dunk rejected by any court that hears it.”

The slow accumulation of facts over fiction might well become a financial crisis for those who participated in Trump’s narrative. The Fox News Corporation, One America News Network, and Newsmax are currently facing multibillion dollar lawsuits from Dominion Voting Systems and Smartmatic, a voting machine company and an election software company.'

for claiming that Lyndsey's challenge could reach the fascist SC. Looks like someone else feels the same way.

Our fascist SC members have taken the opinion that states have absolute rights to run their own elections without federal interference. Of course the fascist court can make exceptions when it suits their move to autocracy.

The sick 6 on the SC are simply doing what they promised to do; regress the USA 100 years, to make us "great" again.

I would not be shocked or surprised if they give absolute power to the States to "govern" their own elections.

about the corruption of judges.

It is Judgment at Nuremburg, which tells the story of the trials of German judges from the Nazi era after WWII. It shows how they abandoned justice in order to toe the Nazi line.

Cast includes Spencer Tracey, Judy Garland, Marlene Dietrich, Burt Lancaster, Maximillian Schell, Richard Widmark, and William Shatner.

many years before it became a trending term. And I'm relieved that others have also seen what I've been seeing, because it's simply true. The more it's accurately used, the better. Fascism is dangerous for all of us. It squeezes the life out of a prosperous society. We've seen it over and over.

But GA SC would need to rule first, right? Frankly I don’t think SCOTUS should have jurisdiction, you know, states’ rights and all.

Regardless,SCOTUS is in recess until October, Graham could be in jail for contempt or at least indicted by then.

Has any chairman of the Senate Judiciary committee ever called a Secretary of State to question election results in a state he doesn’t represent?

it would seem impossible to extricate him from all of it. There's "Fox Sports" and Fox Television. Billions flow through Murdoch's conglomerates every day. And part of his long-time arrangement with the political "conservative" establishment is to provide a voice for the "conservative" movement IN EXCHANGE for unfettered media rights and presence. He did the same in Australia and the UK.

does not get the attention it needs regarding the threat it poses. For decades these so-called "News-Talk" radio stations have been spewing unfettered right-wing hate, lies, and propaganda and brainwashing the listening public to the point of creating mass psychosis and insanity. We are now seeing the culmination of decades of broadcasting insanity into the minds of millions of the public. There is no part of the country that doesn't receive a right-wing news talk radio and with perfect reception. In fact, in vast areas of the country, there are usually only three types of stations that will come in with perfect reception, the conservative news-talk station, the conservative Christian radio station, and the conservative Country Music station. There are no parts of the country that don't receive at least one of these types of stations with perfect reception.
