33. Once upon a time...

Many years ago, I was invited to go camping with some acquaintances. I was in the area working and they had come to visit and looked me up.

When I arrived I found that the campground was kind of full and the acquaintances had just arrived, it didn't look like there was room for the group without two spaces.

Seeing this, the mom in the group begins shouting and yelling which got her kid doing the same. Then she cranked up the music and a male in the group started acting like there were no rules in the campground with respect to the other campers' experience.

I was not thrilled with their behavior, seriously this all spun out of control in a matter of fifteen minutes. At which point the one who invited me admitted that they intended to clear a few spots in the campground by running people off with their behavior so there would be more room and privacy for them!

I decided I didn't need to know anything more about this group of folks and left, I was only minutes from the bunkhouse where I worked so it was no problem for me to leave and be home shortly after.

I heard, the next morning, that they were evicted from the campground about an hour after I left. I was glad they had no idea where I worked or stayed.

This guy reminds me of that event.

Experts say excessive patriotism almost always degenerates into fascism.

For me, this is disrespectful to our flag. Excessive displays, low to or touching the ground is just wrong and serves no purpose other than paying China to make more copies. Even more offensive to me is people wearing the flag as clothing.

This certainly is within this guy's legal rights (assuming he cleans up his mess) but I'm curious to know how much money tRump grifted off this little display.

I have lived in Jax. FL for 50 years and CA 20 years and have never seen anything like that for anyone. I have never ever seen a political sign at the beach, never! I don't even see MAGA hats at the beach we go to near the Navy in Mayport. Of course we go to a beach park where it is never crowded (don't go there on holidays) and is more of a family spot.

But Damn, I sure wouldn't want to walk up on this by accident. My mouth has a hard time knowing when to stay shut and I'd get in trouble for sure. FL has so much coastline, this could be many places, but I would sure love to know exactly where.
