He changed his tune toward COVID after he got it and went into the hospital. He disagreed with the supreme court decision to overturn RvW. The republicans in UK support government healthcare. They disagree with the budget but they agree everyone deserves healthcare. At the very least, he is still reasonable and is willing to learn and change while we can't say the same for TFG. British republicans are at least not as right wing as republicans in the US.

But I don't think I can give him credit for that because any reasonable person would know that rioting against the government/country is going to get you into jail real quick. The US (mostly republicans) just somehow made TFG the king that can do anything he likes without any consequences.
