(82,849 posts)Republicans are enacting a very extremist agenda, and Democrats ought not be shy about pointing that out. We hold the majority opinion on issue after issue, and having a platform full of popular ideas and programs would seem to be an advantage. Especially when it's put up against the extremist (there's that word!) program the Republicans are currently executing and advocating for.

Normalize hate and violence.

(5,843 posts)... to clue in other Dems that hey, it's a good thing to tell the brutal truth to the public.
Or if she and Joe have talked about it and are thinking of having her run in 2024 instead of him. Increasing her visibility would be a good thing.
This is purely speculation on my part.

(6,017 posts)I've met cosplay enthusiasts and sports team enthusiasts who are extremists; it's not an inherently bad thing. Once I even met an adrenaline junkie that I'd term an extremist compared to ordinary folk.

(11,569 posts)From the top down, Republicans are shredding our democracy. Whether its the extremists on the Supreme Court gutting the Constitution, activating vigilantes against pregnant women or terrorizing election workers, they have a comprehensive plan thats well- funded an well-organized. Without a doubt, this is the greatest threat our country has ever faced. It will take years of massive and dedicated efforts to root out this cancer.
