What’s remarkable (and well-remarked in social media) is seeing conservatives in England actually throwing up their hands and saying, “Enough!” and resigning. Trumpublicans here double, triple, or quadruple down.

After rumors that he’d have to be dragged out kicking and screaming, Johnson agreed to leave. On this side of the pond, Donald Trump organized a deadly insurrection first. He is still lying, grifting and hoping to avoid jail. His co-conspirators are too.

As the UK media dumps all over Boris Johnson, worth noting he'd never have become PM had the media not covered for him, enabled him, & bathed him in praise. Easy now for everyone to forget the fawning coverage he got but some of us have longer memories & knew he'd be a disaster.

We knew Trump would be a disaster.

First, it's hardly a good look for "journalists" to use a rationale that newspapers in germany might have used to justify fawning coverage of hitler.

But more directly, is the media seriously telling us that they couldn't have attracted eyeballs with Hillary as president? Seriously? First woman president and the all-time favorite target of muckrakers, that Hillary?

I mean that's like the national enquirer saying they can't sell papers about michael Jackson or Elvis.

True, Hillary herself would have been boringly responsible, but republicans could be counted on for ginning up entertaining lies and fake scandals.

5. Hillary and Biden are boring for them.

They have to actively create drama to "attack" them. TFG did all the work for them. He created chaos daily. There is a new shinny object for them to report on daily. Hell, they are still milking money out of all of the wrongdoings TFG did during his term.

But yes, they would like the tax cut from any republican.

But to say they would earn the same money from Hillary as TFG is wrong. Matter of fact, I tuned the news out once Joe Biden got elected because TFG news exhausted me. I know for a fact many others have done the same. Rating for MSNBC and CNN dropped once TFG is out of office as well.

4. Jokes On Them

TFG and his Republican enablers are no fans of the M$M. In fact, they ostracize them, ignore them or berate them at every opportunity and yet they still keep talking about them (almost 2 years after the election is over). Someone should count the number of TFG versus POTUS headlines out there. It's unprecedented IMHO.

It's an open secret that Republicans are not shy in using the government apparatus to punish their perceived enemies. While a lot of Democrats will be targeted, I also suspect much of the M$M will be targeted if they don't follow the narrative. I guess that will give me a small measure of satisfaction to see much of the press subjected to Republican ire. Maybe for a split second they'll regret their folly (but I doubt it).
