I’m sure he believes that. But if there’s anything this war has demonstrated it’s that Russia’s conventional war machine is not that formidable relative to ours or the combined forces of NATO. They still have their nuclear triad. But I wonder what state some of those weapons are in. I’m imagining one of those Estes model rocket engines that’s been stored in a damp garage for 30 years.
