2. At current trends, the Swedish krona will be worth half of what it was

versus the USD at its lows on some FOREX exchanges in spring/summer 2008, right before the already "clearly about to happen' (it officially kicked off in early 2007, when massive subprime lender New Century Financial Group went bankrupt on April 3, 2007) utter devastation of the 2007-2009 global financial crisis hit.

I remember working for a U.S. government contractor with contracts in Afghanistan a few years back. We used contractors out of Great Britain to work the contract. The exchange rate then was (on average) 1.30.
