I've lived in Wisconsin for decades and have always been proud of my state. Now we're getting screwed by a conservative court and a repuke majority that strives every day to be more like Trump. We'll keep fighting, of course, but it's tough.

Madison and Milwaukee are definitely blue but a lot of the state is small towns and rural areas that vote Republican. We got gerrymandered to death when the repukes took the majority and that's hard to turn around. Wisconsin did support Obama in 2008 and 2012 and Biden in 2020. I have to remain hopeful that we can turn things around in this state, in the long run, because I have kids and grandchildren living here.
