Actor Larry Storch of F Troop dead at 99.

https://www.njarts.net/larry-storch-actor-best-known-for-f-troop-dies-at-99/

Larry Storch, best known for playing the dim but loveable Cpl. Randolph Agarn on the 1960s sitcom “F Troop,” has died at the age of 99.

A message posted today on his Facebook page reads, “It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share with you the news our beloved Larry passed away in his sleep overnight. We are shocked and at a loss for words at the moment. Please remember he loved each and every one of you and wouldn’t want you to cry over his passing. He is reunited with his wife Norma and his beloved F Troop cast and so many friends and family.”

I didn't even know he was still around! He did a lot of character actor spots but didn't realize he was the voice of Phineas J. Whoopee!

R.I.P. and condolences to his family.

May his memory forever be for a blessing. Yes…he was a “landsman” as well. I’ll say Kaddish for him tonight at services.

I think it's one of the funniest sitcom pilots ever.

Warning: it's not P.C.

He was still a funny guy having a good time. And was closing in on the big 100.

Until recently he was making an annual appearance at the Larry Storch’s Silver Dollar Saloon in Wild West City NJ. His last one here at age 98.

RIP Lary Storch. You had a hell of a life.

High school classmates and friends for life, Larry Storch ("F Troop" ) and Don Adams ("Get Smart" ) starred on sitcoms on competing networks (ABC and NBC) in 1965.

Here's another one:

Little Feat’s Lowell George makes a cameo appearance on TV’s ‘F Troop,’ 1967
File this one under “I did not know that” (said like Johnny Carson): If you look him up on IMDB (which I did recently, although I can’t exactly recall why) you will

My parents regulated television away from comedy.

North Jersey has its share of entertainment personalities.
