The Lily Ledbetter Act for equal pay for equal work. The female Senators all voted with the Dems, so it passed over the filibuster.

and there are so many other reasons that further demonstrate the lack of empathy and the disinterest in governing this country by the Republican Party since after Theodore Roosevelt.

I think the female lion has sex about 100 times when she is in season and humans have sex about 70 times before they get pregnant. Sex is for much more than reproduction otherwise animals would only do it once.

Consent to having sex is Not consent to get pregnant. Like consent to driving a car is Not consent to being in a car accident. Yeah, car accident only happen if your in a car but that's not the purpose of riding in a car.

Consent to being pregnant is Not consent to staying pregnant. But then you have these Christians who think they know their supernatural sky daddy wants all pregnancy to be forced into birth.... except for the ones he kills with miscarriages, hemorrhaging or ectopic pregnancies.

I'd like to see the House/Senate bill number and date voted on, somewhere out there are women
who will look it up to see if Rs really don't care about them. Could help bring more into our camp.

That it doesn't seem to be accurate. This is from ballotpedia:

The Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA) is part of an amendment to the Federal Deposit Insurance Act, originally enacted in 1950. The act was introduced to the United States House of Representatives on October 31, 1973. The measure passed on February 5, 1974 in a vote of 282-94. The measure was then referred to the United States Senate, which passed an amended version on June 13 in a vote of 89-0. The amended version went to a conference committee. The committee returned an amended bill to both chambers. The House approved the amended version in a vote of 355-1 on October 9, and Senate approved the bill in a voice vote on October 10. The act was signed into law by President Gerald Ford on October 28. Enforcement of the act was originally the responsibility of the Federal Reserve Board, but the passage of the Dodd-Frank Act in 2010 transferred this authority to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.[1]

So if the senate passed an amended version 89-0, and it went back to the house which voted to pass it 355-1, then it really won't stand the test of the argument I know will come if I post it and right-wingers fact-check it.

This is the problem with memes on our side too, they so often aren't accurate enough and that does damage to our cause.

I avoid sharing memes unless I'm sure of the facts, the quotation, the photo.

or should I say the whole truth? Rs lie about everything, we shouldn't lower ourselves to their standards.
There's enough absolute truths out there we can use, we need to remember the old saying.......
The first liar doesn't have a chance.

the RWNJs I spar with regularly would love to catch me in a "lie," because it serves their narrative to call me a liar. I have to be more careful than I might ordinarily be, which ends up being in my favor because I'm much more likely to fact-check before posting to a hostile audience and it ends up helping me to do a better job of being sure of my sources. Recently I went to share a quote and just to be sure, checked for attribution, and sure enough, it couldn't be sourced to the famous person in question. (I already don't remember who the person was haha)
