beginning in 2001, after they engineered the last round of tax funding cuts back in 2000. Their funding is now mostly private conservative and corporate, only about 25% tax money. and so is their messaging. It is just in much classier language than Fox.Tax subsidized corporate anti-government propaganda.

I am willing to bet big money that Nick Adams knows nothing about Abe other than Trump praised Abe a few times.

1. Trump has no friends. Trump has transactional relationships. If you flatter Trump he will flatter you. If you do anything that doesn't benefit Trump, he will throw you under the bus.

2. Abe was a polarizing figure. He was "conservative", but not in the sense that Adams or other conservatives would understand. Abe was an ultranationalist who wanted to take Japan back to the time prior to WWII when militarism and expansion had Japan as a world power.

3. This has NOTHING to do with Abe having any kind of relationship to Trump. Trump has little to nothing to do with Japanese politics. Abe was on the scene and doing his own thing WAY before Trump came around.
