Trump considers waiving claim of executive privilege for Stephen Bannon to testify

A letter from the former president, which could be signed tonight or tomorrow morning, may clear the way for his former chief strategist to testify before the House select committee probing the Jan. 6 attack, according to three people familiar with the matter. Bannon is scheduled to stand trial this month on charges of contempt of Congress for failing to comply with a subpoena issued by the committee.

A letter could be signed tonight or tomorrow.

Bannon has been indicted and is going to trial. There is nothing tfg can do to change it.

How long ago was it that CNN anchors got orders not to use the phrase, "The Big Lie?" I have watched CNN and MSNBC and I haven't heard one anchor say, "The Big Lie."

Oh, and, Fuck Steve Bannon, his trial isn't that far away. Screw DOJ if they fall for this.

I've heard anchors use the terms "Trump's Election Lies" & "Phony Clamis Of A Stolen Election" on multiple occasions since that directive was issued.
I think those are actually better than "The Big Lie".

Your question is insulting.
And, i think it's ridiculous to think "Big Lie" is more impactful than "Trump's Lies". The latter affixes the lie to one single source.
But, given you resorted to condescension, I'm going to guess you didn't think this through.

Trump people volunteering to testify to avoid subpoenas. Even Cipollone who isn't in legal jeopardy volunteering to testify. I trust none of them. These people should be testifying before grand juries not the select committee.

I still have faith in Fani Willis.
