Is Bannon's pardon a proper topic in his examination?

The pardon which Bannon received from Trump had nothing to do with the J6 insurrection.

However, can and should it be a topic for inquiry when he appears before the J6 Committee?

He can't really claim a 5A privilege regarding the crime he was charged with, as he is now immunized by the pardon.

as a lame and ineffective way to get off the hook re: his upcoming trial and to get a platform to spew his bullshit, but the committee hasn't agreed to this, and won't. If he testifies at all it will be at a closed-door deposition.
