what?

Get shot along with their children? Good parent on baseball field with Gun also?

Unbelievable is how The Gun is terrorizing all Americans and one fascist party believes that terrorism to be a feature, not a flaw!

I went to get new tires last week. The store was very busy for 9 am in a sleepy little town.

Then a guy walks in wearing a handgun on his hip. I guess he thought he was in a Western. He had a T-shirt saying "though I walk through the valley of death I fear no evil because I'm the biggest baddest MFer around." There was a picture with a bloody cartoon skeleton with a shotgun shooting out over to the right.

I immediately got up and walked outside. If he was going to start shooting, I was going to duck down behind a huge planter.

Nothing happened.

New rule: Have an escape plan if you are out and about in public in the US.

Just another day in America.

I was in the ER with my adult daughter recently, with a long wait. Noticed guy sitting across from us start talking to himself, being very agitated. He got louder and started hitting his phone (with the language he was using, it was like he suspected his GF of cheating on him). Then threw the phone, huffing and puffing and getting increasingly enraged. He repeated went to the desk to see where he was in line. He eventually went outside, at which point I went to the security guard to make sure he was aware of this man's unstable behavior and said, "I'm watching him and if he returns, I'm scoping out a safe exit because I wouldn't be surprised if he went to get a gun."

It's that kind of thing all the time now on the rare occasions I'm around humans. Awful.

Prior to that ER incident my daughter took toddler grandson to see his first movie (they left before the movie because of the medical crisis; she's okay though). But when she said that's what they were doing, my first thought was the shootings in theaters. But no matter the activity, there has been gun violence so basically I stay in a constant state of anxiety re: his safety.

Fuck all these extremist motherfuckers.

WRAL.com, July 10, 2022 1:06 p.m. EDT

Wilson, N.C. — Gunfire forced the cancellation of a day of baseball on Sunday in Wilson.

Video showed players quickly getting on the ground at Gillette Athletic Complex.

Someone nearby was shooting.

The Wilson City Little League was holding a tournament at J. Burt Gillette Athletic Complex on Corbett Avenue when shots rang out and the crowd scattered, witnesses told WRAL News.
