Got a call from Drugmart wanting insurance info. They didn't ask on the other shots.

(65,078 posts)I've never been asked for my insurance information, and i got 4 shots at 3 different places. (First 2 were at mass vax site in next county over.)
I've read many folks here having to provide insurance info, but neither my wife nor i ever had to.
That it's different for different people seems weird to me.

I've had two booster shots and Ins didn't come up where I went. Looks like it varies by which pharmacy you go to.

(10,833 posts)We've gone to the ACME pharmacy for the boosters. And yes, they had our Medicare #'s for insurance purposes. But no charge to us.
As for the other original shots? We were in TN and received shots at the county health center. They also had our Medicare #'s.
