I've never been asked for my insurance information, and i got 4 shots at 3 different places. (First 2 were at mass vax site in next county over.)
I've read many folks here having to provide insurance info, but neither my wife nor i ever had to.
That it's different for different people seems weird to me.

But my son said they sent him a bill for $26.00. He called and complained and they took the charge off.

to manage payments. But the patient shouldn't have to pay anything out of pocket.

I've had two booster shots and Ins didn't come up where I went. Looks like it varies by which pharmacy you go to.

We've gone to the ACME pharmacy for the boosters. And yes, they had our Medicare #'s for insurance purposes. But no charge to us.

As for the other original shots? We were in TN and received shots at the county health center. They also had our Medicare #'s.
