CSPAN3, for those who have access to that cable channel, is broadcasting live as are other free/cable news broadcast outlets.
For those without a TV and/or who are unable to watch (if at work or home or if traveling, etc but have a mobile device with internet access), here are a few of what are many streams that can be used to view/listen to today's session, including the J6 Committee's own stream on YouTube (the major broadcast - ABC, NBC, CBS, and cable networks CNN, MSNBC, etc., and print - WaPo, WSJ, etc., usually air and/or stream these hearings as well) . If you have a local or nearby Public Radio station, they will often broadcast the audio on those stations using NPR's feed -

Since he didn't say those exact words, how can he be held responsible for any of this, right?
That's exactly what they'll say. He can't be held responsible for other people's actions.
These people are completely nucking futs, and they follow the Big Orange Pig like hungry little piglets. 🙄
ancianita
(36,100 posts)"They" can't say he can't be held responsible. It's on record that he said those exact words. Twice.
He also said, "you've got to fight like hell." So he didn't care if Capitol police, congresspeople or Pence were killed. So the deaths of five are on his bloody hands.

There is/was a website that documents them. It is/was run by a history/architect buff as a hobby. A tiny, noncommercial, low traffic website. The guy noticed a huge upswing in traffic prior to 1/6, and got suspicious, he tried to alert the FBI or Capitol Police...
Now, I merely know that tunnels exist, I couldn't tell anyone anything about them. But anyone who has ever worked in the Capitol -- which is probably tens of thousands of living people -- has personal experience with those tunnels sufficient to be useful to these criminals.

(36,100 posts)No offense to the Jan 6 Committee at all, but the connection between Trump and the mob isn't witnessed by Cipollone, from what I've heard and seen so far.

(36,100 posts)let the criming unfold. He did nothing to stop Trump's mobilizing. To me, doing nothing amounts to aiding and abetting.
Cipollone doesn't get away with just handwringing at that point. He let stochastic planning to mobilize a mob go forward.
Later, he depended on Hutchinson and others to stop the president? Sorry. He's not off the hook.
Cipollone comes off as a passive aider and abettor of what he knew would be crimes. He SAID to Hutchinson that crimes were about to be committed. As the constitutional cop who failed to stop that, he cannot claim he was innocent.

(129,129 posts)just that since they have been trying to get him to testify for some time and they had already planned the subject for this hearing, they could actually now insert clips from him that were relevant to the topic. Otherwise they would have moved on to the rest of this subject.
The CSPAN host mentioned that they had planned another prime time hearing Thursday but have pulled that and will reschedule.
ancianita
(36,100 posts)So far, he just let it unfold. He failed. That's what I get so far.

(129,129 posts)where you had "personalities" like Powell and Ghouliani who had the ear of the President and there was nothing anyone else claimed they could do. There was a whole segment of clips of people describing some late night meeting after the certification where all hell broke loose until early in the morning where people reported hearing the yelling and screaming thorough the walls.

(36,100 posts)He's an evidentiary witness of actions and decisions he apparently did nothing to stop. I give him no credit for doing his job as the constitutional cop for The People.
He just didn't participate. But by DECIDING TO DO NOTHING, he passively aided and abetted.
You might want to believe he's the good guy. That's the media narrative so far. But so far I don't see it, and so I don't believe he's been the good guy at all

If youre going to have a Jan. 6 defendant testify, you want one who has pleaded guilty but hasnt yet been sentenced. They can talk about what they did (relatively) freely, but they arent going to go off-script so to speak because the judge is going to hear what they say.
Ryan J. Reilly @ryanjreilly · 17h
A Capitol attack defendant who pleaded guilty last month but who has not yet been sentenced is set to testify before the Jan. 6 committee tomorrow.

Women for America First changed their permit from a protest after the inauguration to Jan 6th in an e-mail sent the morning of Dec. 19th.
Ali Alexanders group registered wild protest dot com the day after tRumps tweet.
