2. My Trumpster brother-in-law says that invalidates the whole thing.

When my wife brought up the topic of the hearings, he shrugged it off, saying, "it's just a show."

If I wanted to waste the time, I'd ask him about some of the other shows that he accepts as gospel truth:

Laura Ingraham's show
Sean Hannity's show
Tucker Carlson's show
Every Trump rally ever

Each of these is indisputably "just a show". But do any of them feature witnesses testifying under oath,and under penalty of perjury?

P.S. He also believes - wholeheartedly - that the real instigators there at the Capitol riot were all Democrats, egging the Trump supporters on in order to get them to misbehave, and make them look bad.

This is the appalling degree of brainwashing and delusion that we're up against.
