He fell for it because he wanted too, I have no sympathy for any of them.
I have tried many many many times to get some of these folks to just watch a Biden speech or watch a floor vote and see who the liars and cheats are and they REFUSED...
Screw em all and their apologies.

I don't see how anyone can listen to the orange monster for any more than 10 seconds at a time without getting nauseated (except in a Randy Rainbow video).

The guy who testified in person today listened and like what he heard - so much so that he traveled to Washington DC and willingly took part in the riot that became an attempt to overthrow the duly elected government violently. I can't imagine any intelligent adult falling for crap like that.

Even in high school, I was shocked and repulsed by the occasional pep rally we had to attend. A gym with more than 1,000 kids shouting in unison about how great we are reminded me of nazis - and I was in the band!

I think these guys only saw the light when their asses were in slings. I like the way the one kind of equivocated when asked if he now believed the election wasn’t rigged. We’ll see where he lands when/if the next snake oil salesman comes around with their bullshit. Hopefully it’s not Trump.

Saying “I’m sorry” doesn’t fix or excuse their stupidity. As I said in the hearings thread, these were two of the biggest dumbasses I’ve seen in awhile. Falling for a man who used them while not giving two shits what happened to them.

I’m not much into apologies for shit like this.

It's one thing to accept a seemingly remorseful apology, especially when direct victims of crimes seem to do so.

What I push back against is the notion that these adults were tricked or brainwashed, or that we should have compassion for their dangerous, often deadly, gullibility.

There was something within them that made them susceptible to the extremist, bigoted hatred. They need to be 100% accountable for that. Because if it wasn't Trump, it would have been someone else....or could be someone else in the future...unless we as a society absolutely and unabashedly condemn those beliefs and behaviors and NOT excuse the perpetrators as being some kind of victims themselves.

They leaned into a worldview that they were already embracing.
