My little feel good episode today
Had to visit/ had a dr appt today at hospital, blood work and dr visit
All is well… dr most concerned with whether I’ve had my 4th booster, which I promised to get pdq..
But it was after, taking the shuttle back to the parking deck, took it there and back … it was the same driver, older black gentleman, I think he recognized me as I’m the older grey bearded ponytailed white dude in the straw hat, and he motioned me into the front passenger seat as I prefer that seat (slightly claustrophobic)
Anyway on the ride back to the parking deck he had the radio tuned to the hearings… I kept my mouth shut so to listen too
As we were parking I leaned over and pointed to the radio screen and asked
“Have you been keeping up with all of these?”
And he said “oh yeah ….( pause…) not learning anything new”
I paused and said “ well, we pretty much knew it all, all along didn’t we?”
He broke into a hearty chuckle and said “ Yes we did”
I thought we were going to hi 5 and fist bump as we laughed together …
He said “ you have a nice afternoon sir” and I said “you too, and thanks for the ride”
Got home just in time for 2nd half of the hearing after the break …
