Okay, I just fell in love with Neil Katyal on Deadline White House

Nicolle Wallace was talking to him about Patsy Baloney wanting Pence to get the Presidential Medal of Freedom, he said, "Well, maybe I guess by their bottom-feeder standards they should all get medals [referring to those who FINALLY decided to tell the truth].)

BTW it has been 18 months and Capicola could have said something during the 2nd impeachment
trial ... and he defended TFG in the 1st impeachment trial too. The who helping Putin to attack
Ukraine by with holding weapons from Zelenskky to blackmail him into making up stuff on the
Bidens.

We were just joking about his name. The PBS close captioning of the hearing kept spelling his name as "Patsy Baloney" instead of Pat Cipollone and capicola is sort-of Italian bologna, so I guess that fits too. Sorry for the confusion!

Thar lunchmeat is spelled Capacollo, in italian.
My aunt's in-laws had a shop that made it back in the day, so that spelling stuck with me.
It wasn't until now that the Subway ads popped into my head & i recalled i noticed the spelling difference.
Sorry for the interruption.

Close captioning is a mess. I use them all the time, because I'm a little hard of hearing and they help me catch details that I'd miss otherwise, even with my hearing aids. And I have see my share of mangled messes!

Close captions are a great concept and I find them very helpful, when they work right. When they don’t...

Pence or others that have very belatedly come forward to ask for their medals are the worst.

The ones that left in the first few months and tried to tell the US and the world that something stank in Denmark (pardon me) are the real heroes.

I'll even give some credit to people like Michael Steele who was one of the architects of the (r) takeover who has been touting ($$$) his views about the perfidies of the (r)s. Shit, there are more ex-(r)s that write books and are on talk shows than there are real people. Money to be made, I guess.

was totally illegal and absolutely out of the question. I don't even even want to think about what might have happened that day otherwise.

I always thought Quayle was a doofus as veep. At the time, I remember hearing that Bush Sr. only picked him because he was good-looking and Bush thought that would help attract votes from women. (Yes, ladies, Poppy Bush thought we were THAT shallow!) With an intro like that, I was never able to take him seriously.

But I think Quayle did the country a solid when he set Pence straight about the certification, and I am grateful to him for that.

people in her orbit.

In fact, when Glen Kirshner was in studio this past Friday I was able to call in and ask him a question. I've called in a few times and am: "Nanci from L.A."

It was Sean (who used to be the engineer for the show until he had to move out of the state) who said that.
He hardly ever said anything so they all (as well as their listeners) would get a kick out of it when he would say "a funny."

"Mike Pence is up to his albino eyebrows in this." I can hear it in my head....

If anyone on the Stephanie's show checks us out here on DU: YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!!!
