I didn't think I could have any more respect for him than I already had....

(17,550 posts)I don't think that this hearing had the impact of the others, it was, more or less, the Sip Bologna and the Buckaroo show. I was interested in what old Sip had to say, (or not say) but the Buckaroos were a waste of time. The Redheaded guy was a dolt, he still couldn't bring himself to answer the first question, "Was the election stolen?" Couldn't they find a Fascist bastard turncoat that could speak standard English? As far as feeling sorry for him for losing his job? Too bad, so sad, it is what happens to criminals.
The other guy was just full of shit. I promise you that the Oath Keepers were just as dirty, and hateful just a racist, and just as anti-Semitic the first few years, he was associated with them as they are today. He is just another junior Fascist who was caught with his pants around his ankles and wanted to swap sides at the last minute. I doubt his stated reason for him disassociating himself from them. He told us that they were militias, bad, and dangerous. Was that news to anyone? He told us that he sacrificed his financial life to do the right thing, I guess he wants a medal.
I am no attorney, but I doubt that Executive Privilege was ever intended to cover up the crimes of a traitorous president who makes war on his own countrymen and The Constitution. Cipollone needs to man the hell up and tell the truth; if it cost him his legal career, I would remind him that tens of thousands of Americans have sacrificed their very lives defending the Country and the Constitution. I promise, that we won't kill him for saving the nation... He is just another cowardly traitor with a nice haircut. Cipollone's code of conduct says that it is righteous to save Trump at the cost of our Democracy. Cipollone says that Pence deserves the Medal of Freedom for not breaking the law? Fuck Cipollone.
I will probably be blasted for saying this, but this hearing was more testifying of the questioners than the questioned. It is not that I don't appreciate what they had to say, but that doesn't feel like a "hearing." I hope the wrap-up next week has a little more shine. I also hope that the end of the hearings will not be the end of the matter. If DOJ doesn't stand up soon, then it is all for nothing.
The next thing I expect to hear from DOJ is that it is too close to the Fall elections to be making waves. If that happens, we will know that we are lost and we can beat the rush buying our party flags...
