Fuck them all.

The Rude Pundit
Why didn't any of these people resign? Why didn't Cipollone? Because they believed in everything up until shit went south. Now they're trying to save their shredded reputations.

The Clustertrump had a hard time filling lower staff jobs that usually have a flood of applicants. Both parties. Young people, real super achievers, stop their life and often take way less pay to get that on their resume.

I hadn’t heard this until after the election. The Biden team knew they had to make up for lost time and planned for it.

could have called ABC, CBS, CNN, etc. and met them outside of the gates of the White House. Sure, MANY would not have actually believed them, but it surely would have changed what was being planned by the Junta, or at least alerting more Americans of what was actually going on inside the White House.

Billy Barr 'deserves' credit because he could not/would not continue with the "Big Lie?" BULLSHIT!
HE is the one that COULD HAVE made the Mueller Report into what it should have been - a revealing document of the wrongful and illegal activities of the tRump Mis-administration. But NO - he glossed over it with his own 10-page 'review' that he claimed proved 'nothing.'

Where was the Secretary of State Pompeo, who should have defended his staff when a life-long career servant, Marie Yovanovitch, testified against tRump in the Ukraine scandal?

Where was the Secretary of Defense Esper when Alexander Vindman, a career military officer denied promotion because he testified against tRump in that same hearing?

You have ONE chance to do your job right. If you take actions that 'aid' and 'abet' an administration that is hell-bent on breaking laws, even if you TOOK NO ACTION (kept quiet - 'looked the other way'), YOU SHOULD PAY THE PENALTY! You do NOT get credit for 'trying to be nice' later.

This is not a 'Country Club Board' running a social membership group - this is the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA - a country that should model JUSTICE and EQUALITY for ALL, not just the 'In-group!'

Cipollone only testified because he knew the jig was up when Hutchinson testified.

Cipollone says Pence deserves the Presidential Medal of Honor because he stood up to Trump on the 6th? He stood up to Trump one day out of 365 x 4. That is getting it right 0.07 % of the time.

Also, why did Pence ask so many lawyers whether he could overturn the election? Obviously, Pence was still trying to find a way to please his Master.

They are only singing now and they are only sorry because they got caught.

People that surrounded Trump did nothing before, during or after the Jan. 6 revolt, to prevent, stop, or mitigate the damages to the country. They knew the goal was to overthrow the free and fair election, yet they stayed onboard until it blew up in their faces, and some are still onboard today. Of course, today, many of the conspirators were against it all along...prisons are full of people with that story.

Trump 'watched for several hours as the White House lawyers destroyed' his baseless claims

Jan. 6 committee

The House Select Committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the United States Capitol on Tuesday presented evidence that former President Donald Trump knew that he legitimately lost the 2020 election to Democrat Joe Biden.

The main focus of the hearing came from testimony provided by former White House Counsel Pat Cipollone, and Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) revealed that it was clear White House lawyers, known as "team normal," worked for hours to systematically debunk Trump's conspiracy theories about the 2020 election.

"For all of its absurdity, the Dec. 18 meeting was critically important because president trump got to watch up close for several hours as his White House counsel and other White House lawyers destroyed the baseless factual claims and ridiculous legal arguments being offered by Sydney Powell, Mike Flynn and others," said Raskin.

"President Trump now knew all of these claims were nonsense. Not just from his able White House lawyers but also from his own Department of Justice officials and indeed his own campaign officials as White House counsel Pat Cipollone told us."

She has chosen to stand tall on the right side of Trumpy's insurrection and attempted overthrow of the government. But she still came out in favor of what the Supreme Court recently ruled, overturning Roe.

While what she's doing now is laudable, she is still someone we DO NOT WANT TO SEE in the presidency, and I'm thinking she'll have lots of big money backing in two years.
