I really think we need to get to the bottom of who the insiders were; Congressional members, staff for all the big players, Secret Service (worrisome), Capital Police…

Also this, some Congressional members, especially their staff, talked about how their ability to communicate from their hunkered down positions was hampered by, well, having been sabotaged in some manner. I can’t remember specific items, but things like intercoms not functioning, items removed or disconnected that would have been needed to somehow contact anyone on the outside. Effectively leaving them pinned down, helpless, easy to find and round-up.

(Some of those devices missing or not working were called “panic buttons”)
