Drugs can be rescheduled by either Congress or the D.E.A., we don't need the legislative branch, it can be done by the executive branch.

(1,782 posts)would be that this close to elections, they may be trying to avoid subjects that could stir up anymore rancor than we already have gong on. Every single vote is going to count.
I'm not going to pretend to know if it's a good strategy or not though, I have no idea. Decriminalization seems like a popular stance, but who knows.
