(6,734 posts)Traitors, price gougers, warmongers, polluters, armed incels...all kinds of unsettling reporting. But little children screaming in fear as they're being massacred...and men entrusted to protect them standing there doing fucking nothing. (With military protective gear and weapons.)

(1,127 posts)doing nothing! They took the time to run from the gunfire, find cover/concealment, and get a generous squirt of hand sanitizer (just in case they touched a door knob by mistake). What an absolute disgrace!

(12,417 posts)We need to hear the children screaming and we need to show all those who have made this world of horror possible the carnage they have created.

(7,290 posts)to the full investigation about who was in charge, who was making decisions about what to do, who was giving orders, etc.
I don't expect the cops to run in willy-nilly and start firing, but when I think about the fact that a father of one of the children being murdered was somehow able to NOT charge down the hallway and try to save his daughter, and according to the video, with minimal restraint, I can't help but wonder what these guys were being told to do/not to do.
Because as a father, I can't imagine what it would take to hold me back. This is not in ANY way casting aspersions at Felix Rubio (the deputy whose daughter, Lexi, was killed). But what were the "powers that be" on site telling him that made him believe they were doing what needed to be done? Who was in charge onsite that he trusted to be doing what needed to be done?
Who was the leader here that allowed this massacre to continue unabated?

(2,757 posts)of massacred children or anyone else. What horrible, nightmarish images to plant in people's heads. Parents, kids, those struggling with mental health.
Same with the sound of children's screams. Can you imagine not being able to forget those images and screams for the rest of your life?
Now if it were done like A Clockwork Orange with only the NRA funded pols like Ted Cruz there and forced to watch, I'd be tempted to say okay.
