As always seems to be the case: it's the coverup that gets ya. In this case it's the secret service.

It may well be that someone with control over these agents in D.C., and part of the attempt to overthrow the election process, is exposed in these texts. The delays in responses to the attack on January 6th need much closer examination.

It may be that the military could be delayed by trump, but it hardly seems likely that the Secret Service could be. It’s their JOB to protect Congress. They don’t need special permission to do their job, they do need high ranking authority to not do their job.

Something smells hear…can’t wait to see who the stench is emanating from.

The Secret Service is tasked with ensuring the safety of the president of the United States, the vice president of the United States, the president-elect of the United States, the vice president-elect of the United States, and their immediate families; former presidents, their spouses and their minor children under the age of 16; major presidential and vice-presidential candidates and their spouses; and visiting foreign heads of state and heads of government. By custom, it also provides protection to the secretary of the treasury and secretary of homeland security, as well as other persons as directed by the president (usually the White House chief of staff and national security advisor, among others).

Protection of Congress is the responsibility of the Capitol Police. However, there could have been texts about whether and how the Secret Service would remove Pence from the Capitol and what to do with him. Did Pence's agents know ahead of time what was going to happen, and did they have instructions from TFG to take him away?

My guess is they texted Pence’s driver to get him away from the Capitol so he could not certify the election. That’s why Pence’s statement to his personal agent that he trusted him, but he was not the one driving.

Pence didn't get in the car on January 6. They would have spirited him away and locked him up somewhere until Trump was installed. There's a reason Trump made a Secret Service agent part of his administration.

amiss several years ago when visiting Turkish diplomats got into a brawl with some secret service near the whitehouse……It seemed staged 🤨.

Including their agency’s role in the plot to make Pisswig the Demented Moron King of Red Amerika.

I seem to remember that Pence or his SS detail refused to put him in a waiting car that was to take him away from the Capitol building.

I’ll have to paraphrase, but it was something like, if Pence got in that car he would end up in Alaska.
