House votes 219-210 to pass the Womens Health Protection Act, enshrining protections for abortion.
The one Democrat voting NO is Henry Cuellar, who recently won a primary with Dem leaders support.
The bill now goes to the Senate, where it has no realistic chance of passing.

He is from Texas and up for reelection. Also, this bill is going nowhere in the Senate.

And the bill passed without him...why would it be wise politically for him to fall on his sword?

stump for him even after Roe decision.

would lose the General...it is even more conservative than last time he ran...we will be lucky to keep the seat and we need it.
