I talked to another Trump voter yesterday. His brain is on pause.

While out for my walk yesterday I ran into a guy walking his dog. I asked him if he was watching the hearings. He said no because it would piss him off. For a moment I thought he may be a Democrat.

Then he said, I can't watch it because it's one sided, the other side doesn't get to respond. I instantly knew I was dealing with brain dead Trump voter.

I reminded him the hearings are not a trial, they are hearings to learn what happened on Jan 6th. He then did what all Trump voters do, he deflected and said I can't trust Adam Schiff. The Republicans, Fox News have done a good job turning Schiff Into the devil himself.

I told him about some of the evidence that was presented at the hearings. His response made me angry. He said it depends what news organization is presenting the evidence. I said to him, The evidence is the evidence, who shows it has nothing to do with it. I then asked him, are you one of those people who thinks the news is fake? He went silent.

Then I told him every witness that has testified has been a Republican, many of them worked for Trump. The hearings are not one sided. That's when his brain hit tilt. He brain paused and he said, if they did something wrong we will find out soon.

Trump voters know about the hearings. They know something is wrong but they are terrified of the truth. That's why many of them are not watching the hearings. They believe the hearings are one sided and they are terrified of the truth.

Deep down in their small brains they know Trump and people around him committed serious crimes. I believe indictments, convictions will force many, not all, trump voters to face the truth. In time, it will be very hard to find a Trump voter. They will eventually fade off into infamy.

Fux Nooae is the propaganda channel for the destruction of democracy and the destruction of the United States of America. And the other news channels keep acting like Fux Nooze is a "news" channel, because the BOARDS OF DIRECTORS ARE ALL EITHER REPUBLICANS OR LIBERTARIANS OR CONSERVATIVE "DEMOCRATS" ...DINO'S.

But I do think a lot of people can be peeled off by the overwhelming facts and when indictments start happening.

When the DOJ starts indicting people and convictions start coming, there's an air of legitimacy the legal system confers that the hearings - as good as they are - can't. Right now, the hearings are designed to tell the story. And they are doing a fantastic job. However, there will be more legitimacy and a "huh, there must be something to this" when the DOJ starts indicting the people close to the top. Hopefully there will be perp walks.

Remember Watergate? The revelations of the hearings shocked people. The arrests convinced people there was real criminality. Granted, we didn't have a crazy faction insisting on a nonexistent reality back then, but people's minds began to really be changed when arrests were made.

However, people need to prepare themselves that it isn't likely the orange fuck will be indicted until lower level people have been, and they begin to talk and deal to save their own asses. This is going to take time. They won't deal until they feel reality pushing them into a prison cell. Right now they don't. See: Navarro. When everyone at the top who was involved have been indicted and rumors circulate that people are giving each other up, then they'll talk, and only after that will they arrest the orange fuck. They'll protect each other and him until they realize it's better to give everybody else up.

I spent the next year and a half embedded with a group of Trump’s most hardcore rallygoers — known as the “Front Row Joes” — to try to understand what I’d overlooked.

The answer wasn’t so much what I’d missed as what they had found. They were mostly older White men and women who lived paycheck to paycheck with plenty of time on their hands — retired or close to it, estranged from their families or otherwise without children — and Trump had, in a surprising way, made their lives richer. The president himself almost always spent the night in his own bed and kept few close friends. But his rallies gave the Joes a reason to travel the country, staying at one another’s homes, sharing hotel rooms and carpooling. Two had married — and later divorced — by Trump’s second year in office.

In Trump, they’d found someone whose endless thirst for a fight encouraged them to speak up for themselves, not just in politics but also in relationships and at work. His rallies turned arenas into modern-day tent revivals, where the preacher and the parishioners engaged in an adrenaline-fueled psychic cleansing brought on by chanting and cheering with 15,000 other like-minded loyalists.

They bought the lies and refused to listen to well-meaning friends and relatives until the truth smacks them in the face.

Face smacking time is right around the corner for many and some are already there.

If you see this guy again, please consider telling him that the reason that he thinks it's one sided is because Republicans did not want to have an independent commission. Ask him to think about why anyone would turn down the opportunity to have an independent commission. Tell him only a guilty person wouldn't want one. And with this committee, tell him the Republicans didn't want to put any Republicans on there because they threw a tantrum because they couldn't get those that they wanted on there. The reason they couldn't have the ones they wanted on there is because they could be called in to testify during the hearings

..is getting people to admit they were swindled. If fact, many older folks (not just them but...) NEVER admit to relatives, kids or the cops that they did get scammed for millions of dollars each year. You know, those Africa based emails claiming that if you send money, you'll get back millions. USA based scammers ask for gift cards or try to fake you out of bank/account passwords.

I read years ago now that veteran investigators, even when showing proof, had failed to convince elderly folks and some younger people too they were robbed. The instinct to NOT admit you made a grievous error is very strong and prevents in many cases the police investigators from helping. What's equally shocking is that for every case we see in the press where the scammers got caught and the money returned, 10 times that number or more are either never reported (see above) or the scammers have made a clean getaway.

Often, only when loved ones start investigating where Grandma's or Grandpa's retirement money went do they realize the scam, most often way too late. Oh, and don't get me started on the niece/nephew/grandchild stuck in the middle of nowhere, USA and cash must be wired to get them home!

Scammers always win unless one stops, looks, listens and double-checks. Be sure to tell, often, your elderly loved one to be aware of these and other scams. When in doubt, have them call YOU!

I would predict only a few will face the truth. Normal and sane people realized Trump was a con man way back but the supporters heard what they wanted to hear. They watch Fox all day who tells them what they want to hear. If Trump were to end up in jail, they will say it is the greatest injustice of all time.

The only consolation I have is there are only 30 million of them based on the link. That's not enough to win an election.

Because there's absolutely no way that you can speak "with" them. They don't engage in conversation because that would require logical progressions and application of fact. Their thoughts are as scattered as a typical Trump speech and their beliefs are vapid and unsupportable. They cut us off because they only know emotional impulses rather than political discourse. They politicize apolitical ideas and refuse to believe anything that their chosen media fail to report, which largely means they only know half of any story in the news.

I live amongst these cretins and have given up. As long as right wing radio and FOX news flourish, we aren't battling other Americans over politics, we're battling propaganda and widespread ignorance.

Heck I'd still be bringing up the Iraq War. Tar Trump and the Republicans with Bush. This isn't science; this is sales.
