1. Security failures need to be addressed

It’s all important. Cops criminal ineptitude needs to be addressed.

But damn, it’s frankly infuriating how everyone’s chasing all the issues secondary to what caused this.

is not the same as blaming.

Failures in policies/procedures should be pointed out so that they can be corrected.

They didn't. So all their discussions about safety failures are truly distractions. Look anywhere but at the guns.

7. Guns are not a simple issue, safety issues like fences and doors that lock can be done now

while working toward gun issues too. Doing nothing about anything is getting us nowhere. Don't let them have the excuse or distraction of lacking safety ... fix those things that can be done NOW.
