Off-duty North Las Vegas officer kills daughter, self following altercation with wife

Las Vegas (KSNV) — The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a murder-suicide that happened early Sunday morning.

The incident happened at around 3:56 a.m. at a residence located at the 2500 block of Perryville Avenue, near Simmons St. and Lake Mead Blvd.

Responding officers located an adult female and teenage male suffering from gunshot wounds and were told that the suspect was still inside the home with a female juvenile.

LVMPD SWAT responded and made an emergency entry into the residence, where they located the juvenile and suspect deceased, suffering from gunshot wounds.
