HAMDEN Police arrested a New Haven man after they say he was reported to have drawn a gun Saturday over two women not thanking him for holding a door open for them.
Hamden police said 25-year-old Joshua Murray was charged with carrying a pistol without a permit, a felony; along with misdemeanor charges of interfering with an officer and two counts of second-degree breach of peace.
Hamden police officers were called to the Family Dollar store on Dixwell Avenue around 3:15 p.m. on Saturday after Murray was reported to have pointed a gun at customers in front of the business, police said.
A witness reported that the suspect was upset that two woman did not say thank you to him for holding a door open for them, police said.

(82,849 posts)It's a good thing he had his piece with him so he could teach those uppity women a thing or two about manners. And for that he gets a felony charge?! Well, let's hope that it's busted down to a misdemeanor so he doesn't lose his right to carry. A guy like that really needs an equalizer handy while going about his daily business, for reasons that I think should be obvious.

Joshua Murray grow up and lose your macho behavior. It will only continue to get worse for you if you don't don't.

The only thing that'll stop a guy with bad manners is a guy with good manners - and a gun.
