Here's the account from a New Orleans doctor, who was told by her hospital's lawyer she couldn't perform a D&E on a 16-weeks-pregnant woman whose water broke. Instead, she went through a "painful, hours-long labor to deliver a nonviable fetus, despite her wishes"
"She was screaming--not from pain, but from the emotional trauma she was experiencing," the doctor wrote. After delivering the fetus, she hemorrhaged and lost close to a liter of blood.
"There is absolutely no medical basis...to experience anything like this"
This was filed in court as part of the legal challenge to Louisiana's trigger ban on abortion. More:

or some other stupid thing associated w/ some of the idiotic things that these republicans seem to think that the human body can do, e.g., spontaneously abort a dead fetus or some other terrible condition that someone is facing. Again, I think that the fathers in these situations should pay / incur a price too, after all, w/o their 1/2 of the equation, the lady/girl in question wouldn't have been pregnant and going thru this terrible situation. Have their tubes tied and then the guys will see what's it like to have a decision made regarding their body (guys who get girls/ladies pregnant against their will).
Rather extreme but this abortion position is rather extreme too.
