Why wouldn't Trump's election manipulation stooges manipulate Republican primaries?

That's an angle I haven't seen discussed. Republicans may take some comfort in the idea that Trump stooges in state offices would steal or overturn general elections. That would be disenfranchising Democrats, and Republicans aren't now known for integrity.

But Trump's stooges might steal elections from Republicans in primaries too. That's disenfranchising Republicans. Vote for a Trumpie stooge this election in a primary and you'll never get them out. Your Republican vote's gone forever, because if you don't vote the Trumpie way, your vote will simply be ignored by Trump's stooges. Republicans voting for Trump stooges are unknowingly voting to become Trump's servants.
