Steve Bannon will not present a defense to the jury

Former President Donald Trump aide Steve Bannon will not present any case to the jury in a trial where he is charged for contempt of Congress for failing to comply with subpoenas from the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 insurrection, his attorney David Schoen told the court on Thursday.

The judge has called a recess until 1 p.m. ET, giving the jury — which has not been called in yet today — time to eat lunch as several bookkeeping matters are worked out.

I wanna see them slap the cuffs on him in the courtroom.

I wonder if the judge will pronounce sentence immediately or have them all come back for sentencing?
