evidence and will never consider the law or patriotism in their deliberation.

This is why Garland will never indict the main characters. Or one reason.

5. I have a feeling the other jurors do not want a hung jury going into the weekend

There may be one hold out stubborn enough. Hardly seems worth arguing over all week. I don’t think the judge will accept a hung jury, he will send them back to deliberate. Of course you never know what Trumper’s are going to do

6. I was about to say "I know what trumpers will do", but you bring up an interesting point.

By definition a trumper is irrational and unintelligent, at least about practical matters.

Then the question is how much peer pressure can they stand? You have made me think now, maybe they wont ALWAYS ignore the rule of law and decide based on the rule of trump.

2. All I can imagine is he believes he'll get a very small sentence, if any & no monetary penalty

and that is a price he's willing to pay. I really hope he gets some "real" time, meaning more than 30 days but I'm not terribly hopeful. Plus, does tossing one in a cage stop them doing it again? No, just tends to make them angrier. There should be a hefty monetary penalty. Doubt that's allowed in this case (I have no idea) but it's a detriment stronger than jail time to these morons.

8. Silly question, but how many counts of contempt is he on trial for?

Just the one?

I read that each count has a mandatory minimum sentence of 30 day in jail.

Being how blatant he is about it, I hope the judge makes an example of him when it comes time for sentencing. Surely, if he gets away with ignoring a subpoena and given how high profile of a person he is, others will follow his example.
