that you don't live here anymore and have to see what a mess Metro is. Yes, it extends out towards Dulles now (Silver line), but ridership is way down, interval between trains is longer than it used to be, and there have been numerous and ongoing safety issues.

I took Metro to a baseball game a few weeks ago, and I don't anticipate riding it again in the near future, as I simply didn't feel safe.
