I suppose you can't stop them but maybe shame might work? Or at least let them know that people are watching. I remember Al Gore took commercial planes so as to keep his carbon footprint low. I'm sure all these wealthy celebrities can take commercial flights too if they gave a shit.

1. The problem with that is many of these people have stalkers.

I worked in the field of celebrity charity events and appearances for over a decade, and we had to be on alert the entire time.

I think airports have private waiting areas for VIPs that could take care of that. Besides, once they get off the plane what do they do?

I only learned about this after reading about that Kardasian that took plane rides of less than 3 minutes long. That is obscene.

And I remember reading about how Willie Nelson had his tour busses made so they could run on vegetable oil.

So for the celebrity that cares they can find a way to not keep jumping on private jets. I'm sure plenty of them already do.

9. If all the celebs in the world stopped taking private jets would it make

a difference? I doubt it. Just seems like more bashing, right up there with telling us mere mortals that we need to stop using straws and sort our plastics. What we need is HUGE infrastructure changes, not judgement on people who aren't making infrastructure plans.

14. I was just thinking of a previous post I put up about Kylie Jenner and her plane

trips that last 3 minutes. Once that became public people were trolling her about it - shaming her so to speak

I use public or group transport fairly often. The village bus will take us shopping. .... but I do own my own car.

Sometimes you just want to get from point a to point b without someone annoying you both ways or goofing around so long your ice cream melts. If I feel it, I can't imagine what it is like for high profile people.
