Somehow the statute requires those who have been convicted under it to serve their time in a jail, not a prison. For Stevie Four Shirts that almost certainly means the DC jail.
Conditions there are not nearly as "nice" as a federal facility.

Good question as by accepting the pardon he attempts he is guilty of the crime.

Trump pardoned him ? If he can, then surely as a repeat offender he'll get a stiffer sentence ?
