Okay, I'll admit it. I like Christina Aguilera. Never bought a thing by her but that woman has some pipes.

(14,337 posts)I met Billy Joel when he was just a teenager starting out and appearing in coffee houses in the Village. My daughter lives not far from where he grew up in Hicksville.
I, too, am a native New Yorker (West Village), living in Florida (job, not choice). I SO miss MY New York. I can't stop crying watching all this. That poor, poor woman left with NOTHING in Staten Island.

(3,073 posts)He played at a club near by called My House in a band called The Hassles. He always reminds me of LI.
This is so heartbreaking. And Surreal watching from Florida.

But I'm wondering. Where is this being done?

(14,040 posts)That didn't look like Patty playing the 'fiddle.' Was it and she's changed that much or is she not playing with Bruce any longer?
I saw Bruce & the E St. Band when they got back together in Philly @ the FU center and I was right in front of her. I feel like we connected in a very non-stalkery way. We shared a few smiles and some eye contact. So, I wonder where she is now (again, in a non-stalkery way )
