This ain't "rocket surgery", folks!

Those commercials urging us to use more fossil fuels? Paid for by the fossil fuel industry.

The ads decrying regulation of the internet? Paid for by internet billionaires.

The scary TV blurbs about how government price limits on drugs may kill you? Paid for by Big Pharma.

DU-U-U-H!!!

The level of pitifulness of these ex-celebrities is off the charts. I think Mr. Walker may be the most pitiful.

The ability for critical thinking atrophied to nonexistence in the average Republican voter years ago. All they pay attention to is nonstop propaganda that reinforces the biases passed from generation to generation.

irritate me, but the big pharma ads about how price limits on drugs really bug me. If they would not spend so much on advertising on their drugs they would save a hell of a lot of money that could go to studying new drugs. When they changed that law back (no advertising prescription drugs) in the eighties it opened the floodgates.

and realized right there and then that dinosaur industries will do any/everything possible to convince the simple-minded that renewable energy is beyond the capacity of human.

Since then, though their messages have become more subtle, they are still without merit.

They're claiming it will stop research. What a huge lie. "The largest government investments in basic drug discovery research have been made by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) has also contributed to the discovery stage by taking on some relatively high-risk biologic projects." https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK50972/

Also, R&D claims by pharma include marketing. The D in R&D. All those expensive TV ads and the catered lunches in your doctor's offices. This can be up to 90% of the R&D.
