Manchin’s purpose is to make Schumer a senate majority leader. W/o Manchin, we would not even have Katanji confirmed as mcturtle would never bring her up for a vote. If Manchin would be someone else as many dems (likely outside WV) want him to be, he wouldn’t be a dem senator from WV. I am grateful we have a dem senator from WV which is a miracle and won’t be criticizing him. Red state dems are to be cherished and supported.
