As has Big Pharma. Nice work if you can get it. But can she keep it? (She walks a tightrope.)

I've set the bar so low on her, I just expect the worst. So I've nothing to be nervous about.

And a darned major mistake that they're letting Biden go out and talk about it when they don't even know if she's going to kill it or not. Ugh.

There’s not much here that violates ⁦@SenatorSinema⁩’s known red lines.

One big exception: She’s been a NO on limiting carried interest.

And it’s back.

Her office declined to comment.

Manchin makes his deal but what will Kyrsten Sinema do?
The Arizona Centrist has voiced opposition of the carried interest provision in the past.

The fact that she's not commenting isn't necessarily bad.

If she votes no now she’ll own the sole distinction of killing her own party.

Even when she bucked party in the past, she was never the only one, and she usually only did it on things where her vote made no difference. That way she could appeal to conservative voters here saying she stood up to the party (even if the party's bill passed).

I also wonder what concession(s) had to be made to Manchin to get him on board.

You may wish for an apple or an orange, but you will get a peach.

And I won't go any further with my thoughts, because they won't be good.
