Sinema declines to comment on Manchin-Schumer deal. Several of us tried to ask her about it.

New > Manchin makes his deal but what will Kyrsten Sinema do?
Theres not much here that violates @SenatorSinemas known red lines.
One big exception: Shes been a NO on limiting carried interest.
And its back.
Her office declined to comment.

Manchin makes his deal but what will Kyrsten Sinema do?
The Arizona Centrist has voiced opposition of the carried interest provision in the past.

(8,926 posts)If she votes no now shell own the sole distinction of killing her own party.
AZSkiffyGeek
(11,058 posts)Even when she bucked party in the past, she was never the only one, and she usually only did it on things where her vote made no difference. That way she could appeal to conservative voters here saying she stood up to the party (even if the party's bill passed).

And I won't go any further with my thoughts, because they won't be good.
