Veterans deserve better.

Senate Republicans just blocked the PACT Act – critical veterans’ healthcare legislation that they supported just weeks ago.

1. A good statement

I'd substitute "legislative malpractice" for Sen. Tester's assertion that it's "political malpractice." It was the federal government that sent the troops over the Afghanistan and Iraq over the objection of millions of people. We shoveled trillions of dollars out of the Treasury to sustain the invasion and occupation of those countries. This is part of the cost of doing that (as those dirty fucking hippies told you all back in 2003 - we knew). This is the cost that nobody wants to pay for. And that's legislative malpractice - failing to honor the obligations past Congresses have taken on, and the failure of those past Congresses and administrations to take these obligations into consideration when they so blithely dispatch the military all over the globe.
