The damn dam has broke.

Usually, when Liz Cheney makes a statement, you can take it pretty seriously. Near the end of the Committee's last hearing, she made the comment about "the dam has broke"? What did she mean by that?

Now, we see people like Mulvaney and Pompeo, and others, agreeing to testify in front of the Committee. Why are they doing it?

Likely, because they would like to be on record before they are subpoenaed to be in front of a criminal grand jury? Somehow it would make them look more cooperative, with nothing to hide. They do not wish to be directly connected to the DOJ investigation to overthrow our government, by violent means. They prefer to put some distance between themselves and Donald Trump.

Tom Brady hasn’t spoken to Donald Trump in ‘lot of years’ and says their relationship was ‘mischaracterised’

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback, 44, was often pictured golfing with the ex-president before Trump took office in 2017, and had a conspicuously placed ‘Make America Great Again’ hat in his locker while with the New England Patriots two years earlier.

When asked about the relationship in a new interview with Variety, Tom admitted he hadn’t seen Trump for “a lot of years” but added he didn’t want to disparage anyone.

He said: “My personality isn’t ever one to insult anybody... I have plenty of my own flaws. I’m not here to point out anyone else’s flaws.

“There are things that I agree with. There are things that I don’t. There are things I agree with my wife about.

to show a disappointing lack of personal character. (same goes for a lot of other 'stars' in various walks) I find it mildly 'interesting' that Brady is walking back a connection that he didn't find at all troublesome a fairly short time ago. (might say something in a context of overall public perception and toxicity) Other than that .. he's still pretty much the same guy he's been all along.

"some things I agree with my wife about"
Indeed? Because you were too shallow to have such values and perceptions without outside input?

... almost fumble proof. Because less air in the ball means you can get a better grip on the
ball and in doing so you fumble a lot less. They were under inflating the balls that Brady and
the offense were using.

Fri Jul 29, 2022, 09:55 AM

while the balls were supposedly deflated ... it was corrected at halftime of the when discovered ... and the Pats went out and destroyed the Colts in the 2nd half (28 points from the offense vs only 10 in the 1st half), and then won the Super Bowl ... while balls were closely monitored.

Then they won one more under Brady the next year. Then Brady won another at Tampa Bay at 40+ yo.

And those charts don't really prove what you they think they do. There's a lot of potential reasons why either the team's, or Brady's personally ... fumble statistics could improve. It's well-known that fumbling got players in Belichick's doghouse very quickly. BB wouldn't stand for it basically, he punished players for doing so. It can also change because you switch players, you switch O-lines (or blocking styles i.e zone to power blocking), you switch position coaches, you change playing styles (pass-heavy vs run heavy), you do more fumble drills etc.

There's also the fact that there are also DISADVANTAGES to deflated balls, because the ball becomes effectively more dense. It's not a panacea, it has both advantages and drawbacks.

As a Raider fan, I detest the Pats and Brady (if you recall the 2002 'snow job' playoff game, you'll know why, also Kraft sucks), so I'm not defending him as a fan of his (though I admire his skill and work-ethic), but afaic his continued success even after inflation levels were being monitored closely (basically 3 more SB wins afterwards) suggests that this type of cheating, if it was actually happening, was incidental to his success.

I consider the evidence against Brady having been a long-time cheater with deflated balls to be pretty weak, and I watched the story and investigation (and I saw those same charts, and the arguments for/against their relevance) really closely at the time. And it's also possible it was not Brady's scheme, and he was not aware of it going on.

I would buy that his ball-boy, knowing Brady liked his footballs a bit softer, took it on himself to provide his boss with what he perceived he wanted ... that day vs. the Colts.

the ball, passes the ball, or hands the ball off to a R.B. (running back) before the NFL let the
teams handle the game balls themselves the Pats (Brady/Belichick) were right about league
average as 1 fumble every 30 to 40 plays but after they got to take of the ball "home with 'em"
that average went to 1 fumble every 70+ plays and one year it was like 1 fumble every 100 plays.
All NFL teams have people trying to take the ball away from the other team .... aka big strong nasty
men trying to rip it away on almost every play but less air pressure in the ball makes it a little easier
to hang on too.

The Pats/Belicheck have a long history of cheating or at the very least bending the rules.
Don't get me wrong they have been a very good team for many years and that is a fact.

Steve Bannon came to Donald Trump because he was financially back by the Mercer family.

The Mercer family, Rupert Murdoch, The Koch brothers, Are all members of the John Birch society that was created in 1958. The Koch brothers father was one of the founding members.

The fact that Steve Bannon is going to jail means the John Birch society has dropped Donald Trump. So they are no longer protecting him from his deserved And well earn consequences.

Today I heard the RNC has threatened Donald Trump that if he announces a run for president before the 2022 election. They are going to stop paying his legal fees, which bags the question why the fuck are they paying his legal fees?.

Notice on Fox News they didn't show a trump rally instead they invited DeSantos on for a live interview, and they called him "the man of the moment".

Trump is dead, now if we democrats just stop talking about him he will actually disappear
And become a "where are they now" Is story about Americas Orangest Buffoo 20 years from now

🤷🏾‍♀️

All our media needs to do to move on from Donald Trump is say these words "and in other news…"

And they talk about anything else but him.

Does anyone doubt for a minute those two (and many others) would've been happy to serve in an illegitimate government created by Trump if he'd only been smart enough to pull it off? They realized, just recently, they have nowhere to hide. Both are guilty of treason for incompetence (and criminal B.O.), if nothing else.

These guys need jail time just for respiring.
