Mr. Stewart is ON FIRE!

I would love to see someone with this degree of honest passion run for high office some day.

but I think he believes he can do more good helping people from the outside. I am also sure he doesn’t want to run for office because of his family.

Not just slush funds, but for the political points gained from appearing patriotic. They vote for others to die so they can look strong on national security. Regardless of how wrong, how immoral, and how stupid the conflict is.

He appears to not want to give it a chance to corrupt him.

Who can say he's wrong?

He was on one of the MSNBC political shows and was on his way home from DC and stopped on the Jersey Turnpike to do an interview. He did the interview from his car.

That's a lot of time and effort to donate to this cause, and fully worth it. Not everyone would be willing to give up their personal time for such an arduous effort.

But then, he's always been a good guy.

Thank you, Jon Stewart.

I heard him speak yesterday during coverage of his protest, and I had to write it down.

“Boy we love war. But boy we don’t like to clean up the consequences. Always money for war, never money for the war-fighters.”

Hope it makes people THINK.

And even then it fails at the last moment because of politics.

War is a racket, and Republicans love every greed saturated aspect of it. They will spend billions on the bloody, inhumane machines of war and collect their slimy payola while never giving two shits for the people who die or are damaged wielding those horrific devices.
