And yes, that is truly sad.

Why wouldn’t they give her a prettier place for her final resting place? Why didn’t anyone think to dress up her area before the stupid sports event he is hosting?

She cheated under the boardwalk, which is why Dimdonnie the Cuck kept calling John Bolton, "Michael Bolton.”

From Inside Edition:

The FBI dossier states that Maples’ former publicist, Chuck Jones, testified in court that she “had bought singer Michael Bolton back to her room following Trump's departure for a West Coast trip.”

Fri Jul 29, 2022, 10:23 PM
Jul 2022

for things like where she should be buried.

I'm going to guess, based only on this, that she didn't. Too many people never bother to make any kind of arrangements for their death. No will, no instructions. I have been pestering a good friend for a decade now to make a will. I keep on telling him that if he doesn't make one, I will tell his brother and sister that he promised everything to me. The semi-sad thing is that they might well believe me, since they know we are such good friends. In reality, I wouldn't take a single thing, and I have a decent sense of where he'd want his things to go. But he just doesn't get it. Is there a smilie for frustration?

Honestly, everyone should have to settle the estate of someone who died intestate (without a will) to get an idea of what's involved.

Several years ago I was involved in the settling of an estate of a young person who did have a will. It was clean, nothing contested, no complications, and I was astonished at how long it took.

MAKE A WILL!! MAKE SURE EVERYONE CLOSE TO YOU KNOWS WHAT YOU WANT DONE!!

There will be a quiz on this.

Where possible set things up to not require going through probate court by adding your chosen beneficiaries to your 401k, stock accounts and or bank savings/checking accounts. You can add whoever you want to leave your home to to the deed. And if you have life insurance make sure your beneficiaries are kept up to date.

My Dad was a planner! He passed last fall and while he had a will, his estate did not a need to go through probate courts since he had done all of the above. Everything was divided among his 3 kids and was all taken care and we received checks within a couple of months after just making a hand full of phone calls. He even left us al list of phone calls that would need to be made with all the phone numbers and his SS number, Military Number etc. He even planned his funeral and prepaid for everything.

He always said plan your work and work your plan!

My father's grave didn't look much different for a few months until everything fell in place (headstone, landscaping, etc).

If it stayed like this, it'd be a bit shitty, but there's no reason to think it will. Particularly if some of her children plan on being there.

One of the places where I grew up was right across the street from a cemetery. I used to go out there and walk all the time, and I saw new graves all the time. They pretty much all look like hell when they're new and the grass is still growing in. And everybody pretty much has the little temporary marker at first. It would be really surprising to come back in another year and it look the same.
