4. It's not about auditing billionaires, but they're the most likely ones to need auditing

Aren't they Lauren?

Also how many IRS employees did Chump lay off in his 4 years?
Most of them haven't been replaced yet, but they will be.

They'll get around to you eventually, don't worry

Time to chop up that stuff and quit abusing citizens. No one is worth this ridiculous CEO pay these days, it is laughable how predictable they are in getting canned with parachutes.

This should have been utopia, instead getting dumber and meaner by the day?

They cashed the check, but due to tax issues (my military pension kicked in that year)I had to file by paper, and they haven't finished processing the paperwork so I can get my 2021 tax refund back.
Yes, it's an only ~ $500, but still. And because the 2020 paperwork hadn't been processed, I had to file by paper this year, also.
I hope to have everything processed by next year, and those extra IRS agents will help. Filing by paper costs more in time and effort for everyone; me, the IRS, and the State Tax folks.

in fact, I imagine it takes more IRS agents to audit billionaires than it does someone in the middle class, not that there's a lot of them left.

But back on track, to audit someone with shitloads of money and unlimited financial and legal backing you need a team.

Besides, IRS has been starved for resources for decades. It's all part of the repub master plan.
